August 28th 2002......excerpts from letters on 2002

 Whatever do you mean! "more entertaining imagining you leaning against an old rusty mail box to write your gal! and still 40 miles to go to Smoke Lake is all the entertainment  i need. What a sight! 

What a grand lift to my spirits to get your cards and letter this afternoon!.

Oh EMM Smoke Lake sounds like paradise. I imagine a Loon call from you tonight as I sleep. Thankyou my darling! Im going to turn in by 10 tonight. Lots to do tomorrow. My job at Sobeys is working out so far.

By the time I send this and you read it you'll be back in Toronto with your mother.I hope all goes well there mostly for her well being. remember to do your very best and Karma will take care of the rest......dont let old worn out patterns repeat themselves, they come from mistaken beliefs about ourselves.

Hope all is well with Penny and her family too.

I miss you I love you. I dont want to stop writting I feel closer to you when Im writting.Gods speed my love.

August 2002

 I simply love recovery Emm its like saying i simply love life and yes we do influence each others commitment to trust that process. Any woman or man who supposes they can be #one over a drug is deluded and lying to themselves  .My decision to stay clean and sober is totally self serving .We are fortunate in that we both made this decision before we met each other and are open to the benefits of a relationship based in Spiritual values. I did pray to have a companion so I'm not surprised we are so well matched. lolololol I'm now praying things can slow up a bit. My God is this a woman in love or what its been three hours since I first sat here to write you Emm. I miss you some days, and I'm sure its just natural in in beginning. I hope your Lake experience is everything and more you imagined it to be. My friend just called so I must go.So long for now Emm.I need you I miss you and God Bless you and care for you until what seems like forever September 9th. Keep the faith  ...
